Table salt is 97.5% sodium chloride and 2.5% chemicals such as moisture absorbents, and iodine. It is processed at over 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, altering the natural chemical structure of the salt. This process strips the natural elements from the salt, leaving it devoid of the nutrients needed to properly digest the salt.
Over the last 100 years especially, our oceans have become polluted and full of heavy metals. This salt comes from the 250 million year old salt range in the Himalayas in Pakistan.
